I have actually been pretty excited about blogging again and I have been making a looot of pictures, which means that instead of one planned post I have to make at least two posts. And already this one was taking quite a while to make... I guess it means that if I wanna continue with that blog, I should make more frequent posts.
| Ühel kenal pühapäeval mai alguses otsustasime rattamatkale minna / On one lovely Sunday in the beginning of May we decided to go on a biketrip |
The weather was super nice and warm compared to what it had been the previous days (remember the hailing I mentioned in the last post?) |
Our destination was a little village called Earnewâld, which was a 20 kilometres long bike ride from Leeuwarden |
| Külakesesse jõudes olime me juba üsna näljased, seega esimese asjana läksime me kohalikku poodi ning ostsime endale kõik ühe vorsti. / We were already kind of hungry, so the first thing we did in the village was to go to the little store and buy sausages, out of all the things. So then we were just those weird tourists walking around with our sausages, taking pictures of everything. |
| Mingi saarmas / Random otter |
| Seal olid suured lego klotsid / Big Lego bricks |
| Küla oli ümbritsetud rahvuspargiga / The village was surrounded by a national park |
| Tegime pikniku / We had a picnic |
| Ja pikutasime / Chilling |
| Üksik loomake / A lonely animal |
| Kuigi siin pildil on ainult üks, selles rahvuspargis oli tegelikult niii palju kurepesasid, vahepeal üritasin kokku lugeda ennast ümbritsevaid pesasi ning sain u 15, kõigis ka kurg sees. Võibolla see on normaalne Hollandi rahvusparkides, kuid Eestis pole ma kunagi nii palju kurepesasid ühes kohas näinud. / There were shit-ton of stork nests in the national park. Even though on this picture there is only one, at one point I tried to count all that I saw and I had already 15, and every single one of them had a stork inside. Maybe it's normal in Dutch national parks, but in Estonia I have never seen so many stork nests in one place. |
| Käisime linde vaatlemas / We did some birdwatching |
| Sabrina "loodust aitamas" / Sabrina "helping the nature" |
| Tagasi külas / Back in the village |
| Kodu poole suundumas / Heading back home |
| Avastasime et me saame paadiga üle kanali minna ning niimoodi palju lühema maaga koju sõita, ainult 11,6 kilomeetrit. See näitab kuidas Hollandis peab koguaeg sõitma suure ringiga igale poole kanalite pärast / We discovered that we can take a small ferry to cross the canal and with that reduce the trip home to only 11.6 kilometres |
| Paadi peal / On the ferry |
| Sabrina kaunistas mu krunni ära / Sabrina decorated my bun |
| Päeva lõpus võtsime ühe jahutava õlle / In the end of the day we sat down and had a cold refreshing beer |
Sorry, maybe the post wasn't so "little" after all like the title implied.
